Every casino in the table carries Disco Balls Live in its live lobby, so the choice comes down to the practical details. Any Disco Balls Casino worth your deposit has to pass the same tests, and none of them takes long before you register.
The welcome packages shown are examples that change without notice. A bigger headline number is not automatically the better deal, and a package that ignores live games is of no use to a player who only wants this one.
Disco Balls Live is a ball-draw game show from Evolution, released on 9 September 2026. Players bet on which of 20 numbered balls will come out of a glass machine, while a cat in heart-shaped sunglasses throws multipliers onto the betting grid and two ladders climb with every extra ball drawn. It borrows the Disco and VIP Disco bonus games, and their host Mr Funky, from Funky Time, but it swaps the wheel for a physical draw.
What sets it apart is timing. In most game shows the multipliers grow only after a bonus triggers. Here they evolve during the main round itself, so the value of a number can change several times before the winning ball appears.

Every result comes from a real ball machine in the studio, and the host and the presenters run the show around it.
Every round of the Disco Balls Live Game follows the same four steps, and the value of a number can change at each one.
Betting stays open until the timer ends. You can back any single number from 1 to 20 or cover ten numbers at once with Low (1 to 10), High (11 to 20), Even or Odd. Bets can be combined in the same round.
When betting closes, Disco Cat appears and randomly throws up to four multipliers onto the grid. Cat multipliers run from 3x to 20x and Ball multipliers from 3x to 10x. If a number collects several, they are added together. The cat also marks one number with a Disco or VIP Disco symbol, which makes it the Bonus number for the round and can attach a Bonus multiplier of up to 25x.
The machine then draws balls one at a time. A Step ball moves one of two ladders up, by one level or sometimes two: red for odd numbers and gold for even ones. Both ladders start at 5x and can reach 500x. Every Step ball also brings Disco Cat back to add more multipliers, and Ball multipliers can be added again each time he returns.
That is why a long wait for the winning ball is not wasted time in this game. The longer the draw runs, the more every number is worth.
The numbered balls are Result balls. The first one drawn ends the round and sets the winning number. If it is the very first ball out of the machine, a 5x multiplier applies. Otherwise your number pays the current ladder value for its colour plus the multipliers sitting on it. If the winning number is also the Bonus number, the round continues in Disco or VIP Disco.
A round of the Disco Balls Game lasts exactly as long as it takes the machine to release a numbered ball, which can be one draw or many.
Evolution has not released a free-play table for Disco Balls Live, so the closest thing to a preview is its official teaser. It shows the studio, the ball machine and the characters, but it is not a recording of a real round.
Adults 18+ only. The film loads from Evolution's servers when you press play.
The film streams from Evolution's own servers after you press play, and it is a promotional trailer rather than gameplay. It does not show payouts, so rely on the tables on this page for the numbers.
Four kinds of multiplier can build on one number in a single round. Cat, Ball and ladder values are added together; the Bonus multiplier only matters if the bonus game triggers. All of them appear after betting closes, so you always bet before any multiplier is placed.
| Multiplier | Range | Source and effect |
|---|---|---|
| Cat multiplier | 3x to 20x | Thrown by Disco Cat before the draw and after each Step ball, and added to the number it lands on |
| Ball multiplier | 3x to 10x | Also thrown by Disco Cat, added to its number and added again each time the cat returns |
| Red ladder | 5x up to 500x | Moved by red Step balls, applies when an odd number wins |
| Gold ladder | 5x up to 500x | Moved by gold Step balls, applies when an even number wins |
| Bonus multiplier | Up to 25x | Attached to the Bonus number, multiplies the Regular squares in the bonus game |
| First-ball value | 5x | The ladders' starting value, applied if the first ball drawn is a Result ball |
| Overall ceiling | 10,000x | Game rule that caps the total multiplier |
Two readings follow from the table. A number carrying a 20x Cat multiplier is worth a lot, but that value pays nothing unless the number is drawn. And because the ladder colour is set by the winning number, the red and gold ladders reward whichever parity actually comes out.
The bonus triggers when the Result ball matches the Bonus number. Everyone in the studio can watch, but only players with a bet on that number take part and are paid from it. In Disco Balls the bonus does not restart the maths: Cat and Ball multipliers and the final ladder value carry over and are added straight into the total.
Mr Funky starts in the centre of a dance floor. A mini wheel with four directions, up, down, left and right, decides each move, and the game ends when he steps off the edge. Regular squares add their value to the total. Floor squares double the values of five random Regular squares. A square he has collected stays empty for two moves and then resets to its original value.
| Feature | Disco | VIP Disco |
|---|---|---|
| Dance floor | 37 squares | 63 squares |
| Regular multipliers at the start | 1x to 100x | 1x to 500x |
| Floor multipliers | Double five random Regular squares | Double five random Regular squares |
| Collected square | Empty for two moves, then resets | Empty for two moves, then resets |
| Carried in from the main game | Cat, Ball and ladder multipliers | Cat, Ball and ladder multipliers |
| Ends when | Mr Funky steps off the floor | Mr Funky steps off the floor |
If the Bonus number also carried a Bonus multiplier in the main game, up to 25x, that value multiplies every Regular square on the floor before the first move. This is where the very large totals come from, up to the overall cap of 10,000x.
These numbers are chosen for clarity and are not taken from a real round. You stake £2 on number 14. It is an even number, so the gold ladder applies.
Number 14 is worth the gold ladder at 7x plus its own 6x and 4x multipliers, which makes 17x. On a £2 stake that returns £34. Had the first ball been the Result ball for 14, no ladder step would have happened and the starting 5x would have applied. Had 15 come out instead, the stake would be lost.
The same number can be worth very different amounts from one round to the next, because it depends on how many Step balls leave the machine before a numbered one does.
Every numbered ball is equally likely to be the first Result ball, so each number has a 1 in 20 chance, 5%, of deciding any given round. That figure ignores the bonus and does not move with the multipliers, which arrive after the bets are locked.
| Bet | Numbers covered | Chance it wins a round | Ladder that applies |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single number | 1 | 5% | Red if odd, gold if even |
| Low | 1 to 10 | 50% | Depends on the winning number |
| High | 11 to 20 | 50% | Depends on the winning number |
| Even | The ten even numbers | 50% | Gold |
| Odd | The ten odd numbers | 50% | Red |
Cover bets are spread across the ten numbers they include, so a winning Low, High, Even or Odd bet pays the winning number's multiplier on one tenth of the stake. A £10 Even bet is in effect £1 on each even number. If 14 comes out at 17x, the bet returns £17. If it comes out at 7x, it returns £7 and loses money even though it won. Cover bets win more often and pay less per win.
The 5% also explains the dry runs. A single number misses 15 rounds in a row about 46% of the time and 30 rounds in a row about 21% of the time.
Evolution quotes an optimal RTP of 96.08% for numbered bets. In the long run that is €96.08 back for every €100 staked, a house edge of 3.92%. Evolution does not publish a volatility rating, and the shape of the game answers it anyway: a single number wins once in twenty rounds on average, with payouts that can range from 5x to several hundred times the stake.
The maximum payout is capped at €500,000 and the headline multiplier is 10,000x. The two meet at a €50 stake, because 10,000x of €50 is €500,000. Above that stake the cap arrives before the multiplier does, which is why the RTP of a numbered bet at the maximum stake falls to 95.25%.
Stakes run from €0.10 to €5,000, and operators can narrow that range or apply a lower maximum win of their own. Read the limits at the table before you deposit, and do not assume that the cap you see on one site applies on another.
The setting is a 1970s disco studio: mirror balls, warm red and gold lighting, a dance floor and an upbeat soundtrack, with presenters who dance alongside Mr Funky. The ball machine sits in a glass drum, so you can watch the balls tumble before each one drops.
The interface follows Evolution's usual live layout: adjustable video quality, separate volume controls, live chat with the presenter and a panel with recent results and statistics. Those statistics show what has happened, not what will happen, because every draw is independent. The Disco Balls Live Online Game runs in the browser on desktop, tablet and mobile, streamed straight from the studio.
Funky Time, released in May 2023, is the show the Disco and VIP Disco bonus games come from. It is built around a DigiWheel and four bonus games. Disco Balls keeps two of them and replaces the wheel with a ball draw.
| Feature | Funky Time | Disco Balls Live |
|---|---|---|
| Main game | DigiWheel spin | Ball draw with Step balls and Result balls |
| Bonus games | Bar, Stayin' Alive, Disco and VIP Disco | Disco and VIP Disco |
| Evolving multipliers in the main round | No | Yes, a first for Evolution |
| Released | May 2023 | 9 September 2026 |
If the wheel format suits you, Funky Time is the more familiar route. Disco Balls suits players who want the multipliers to move before the round is decided, at the cost of a longer and more complicated round.
Nothing changes the odds of a round, but stake size decides how long you can watch the game before your budget runs out.
Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over. Any Disco Balls Casino that serves Great Britain needs a UK Gambling Commission licence, and the number can be checked on the Commission's public register. Do that before you deposit, because the protections that matter, from identity checks to complaint routes, depend on it.
Set a deposit limit in your account before the first round, switch on reality checks and keep sessions short. The Disco Balls Live Game keeps a steady rhythm with the presenter and the chat, and that pace makes it easy to lose track of time and money. GAMSTOP blocks all UK-licensed sites in one step, and the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133 at any hour.
This site is an independent information resource. It does not run games or accept bets, and the casino buttons are commercial links.
Disco Balls Live is a live game show from Evolution, released on 9 September 2026. You bet on which numbered ball from 1 to 20 the machine will release, while Disco Cat drops multipliers onto the grid and two ladders climb with every Step ball. If the winning number is also the Bonus number, the Disco or VIP Disco bonus game from Funky Time follows, and the total multiplier is capped at 10,000x.
Both are Evolution game shows, and both feature Mr Funky and the Disco and VIP Disco bonus games. Funky Time, released in May 2023, is built around a DigiWheel and four bonus games. Disco Balls Live replaces the wheel with a physical ball draw, keeps two of the bonus games and is the first Evolution game where multipliers evolve during the main round, so the value of a number keeps changing until the Result ball drops.
Evolution gives an optimal RTP of 96.08% for numbered bets, which means about €96.08 returned per €100 staked over a very large number of rounds, a house edge of 3.92%. At the maximum stake the €500,000 payout cap lowers the figure to 95.25%. Neither number describes a single session, which can finish far above or below the average, so treat the RTP as a long-run cost rather than a forecast.
The total multiplier is capped at 10,000x the bet, and the maximum payout is €500,000. The two meet at a €50 stake, so above that stake the cap limits the win before the multiplier does. Reaching the ceiling needs long ladders, large Cat multipliers and a bonus game together, so treat it as a theoretical limit, not a target. Operators can also apply lower caps of their own.
You can bet on any single number from 1 to 20 or cover ten numbers at once with Low (1 to 10), High (11 to 20), Even or Odd. A single number wins in about 5% of rounds and a cover bet in about 50%. Cover bets are spread across their ten numbers, so each win pays on one tenth of the stake. Different bets can be combined in the same round, for example a cover bet next to a single number.
Disco Cat marks one number with a Disco or VIP Disco symbol before the draw. If the Result ball matches that Bonus number, the bonus game starts and the multipliers built in the main round carry over into it. Everyone can watch, but only players who bet on the winning Bonus number take part. Disco is played on a 37-square floor and VIP Disco on a 63-square floor, and both end when Mr Funky steps off.
Evolution's range runs from €0.10 to €5,000 per bet. Operators can narrow it and set their own maximum win, so the limits at a casino table may be lower than the headline range. Check them before you deposit. Remember also that at the top of the range the €500,000 payout cap reduces the return on a numbered bet to 95.25%, so a very large stake is not the same product as a small one.
We found no free-play version. Evolution's own game page offers a trailer, which is a promotional film and not a real round, and you can watch it further up this page. Because the game is live, the only way to see a round is to play one, so start at the minimum stake, decide a budget first and keep bets small until the two ladders and the two multiplier types make sense. The tables on this page show how each round is paid.
Yes. The game is streamed from the studio and runs in the browser on desktop, tablet and mobile, through the live lobby of any casino in the table. Use a stable connection, because a live stream needs a steady flow of data, and check your data allowance if you play away from Wi-Fi. Keep the volume in mind in public places too, since the soundtrack is part of the show. The rules, the odds and the payouts are the same on every device.
All six casinos in the table near the top of this page carry Disco Balls Live in their live lobby, and each one adds its own welcome package. Before you deposit, confirm the operator on the UK Gambling Commission's public register, read the table limits shown for the game and check how much live games contribute to any bonus wagering, because that share is often small.
